Identification of a Three-Biomarker Panel in Urine for Early Detection of Pancreatic Adenocarcinoma

Biomarker identification work by MS Bioworks scientists aids researchers at Barts Cancer Institute, Queen Mary University of London to develop a urine test for early stage pancreatic cancer.   A combination of three proteins found in urine can accurately detect early-stage pancreatic cancer, researchers from Queen Mary University of London have found. The discovery could lead to a non-invasive, inexpensive test to screen people at high risk of developing the disease.  The finding has been published in the prestigious journal Clinical Cancer Research (http://clincancerres.aacrjournals.org/content/21/15/3512.abstract).  You can read more about the work here: http://www.qmul.ac.uk/media/news/items/smd/160274.html.
